Nestled along the shores of Lake Como, Il Principe is an 18th-century neoclassical palace that has been in the Stoppani family since the late 1700s. Steeped in history and timeless elegance, this architectural gem has been meticulously transformed by brothers Andrea and Guido Stoppani into three boutique apartments that seamlessly blend heritage with contemporary design.
I took on the role of art director for the photography, collaborating closely with photographer Federica Borgato to shape the visual narrative. I crafted a set design that highlighted the palace’s unique character while infusing each image with a modern sensibility. The visual language developed during this process extends beyond photography, creating a cohesive identity that unites the various elements of the project, from stationary to digital communication.
The website I created not only simplifies the booking experience but also serves as a gateway to the rich natural heritage that surrounds Il Principe. Through thoughtful design and seamless integration, we’ve ensured that every interaction with the brand reflects the elegance and allure of this historic property.
